Hi all,

i Have system hipath 4000 v7 how to change time?i try the command cha date but still, base on the web change date can configure in linux.may o know how to change?thank you

The system is setup with an NTP - Network Time Protocol server - you need to check that out.

If NTP is not configured

then you have to change manually

1.CHA-DBC
.
.
LOCATION= TESTLAB;

2.EXE-DATE

do teh stting

SYNC= NOsync;

3.CHA-DBC
.
.
LOCATION=CUSTOMER;

Why do this the wrong way when you can do it the right way? Setting DB location to testlab and changing date leaves the RMX date unsynchronized with the Platform, the Assistant, and CSTA. Set the time correct in the Platform (host OS) and the correct time everywhere else will follow.

The 4K should really have a functioning NTP connection. But you can work around it with setting time on the platform for short periods, it should only be a temporary thing.
