We have CR 10 and CR Enterprise Server. When developing reports in the CR designer, I would like to set the datasource to the development SQL server and be able to change the source before deploying it to the enterprise server. This is standard practice in any development area in our organization.
The problem I'm running into is when I use a Command object for the data source, the "Change Data Source" feature will not cooperate. I've tried using both a DSN connection and specifying an ADO connection, and neither will negotiate moving the command to the new data source.
Has anyone found a work-around for this?
