Change daily custom report to monthly

I'm new to symposium express and fairly new with crystal reports.

I took the stock daily agent performance by supervisor report (copied to a new file name) and changed it in crystal to a format users were wanting to see. Now, they would like a monthly report with the exact same format.

I would think there would be an easy way in crystal to change it from a daily to a monthly report, but am having difficulties in figuring out how to do it without taking the stock monthly report and making the same (extensive) changes to it that I made on the daily report.

Can anyone help?

Assuming you are talking about the same report type i.e. daily CDN perf and monthly CDN perf for example, could you change the daily report where it refers to the 'd' tables to 'm' tables?

From the little bit of dabbling I have done, I think you'd need to connect into the database to pull these out.

Your new format, will determine whether it is quicker to do it this way or to start from the standard monthly report.

the way i do that is to duplicate the report, change the schedule, then make the daily report inactive
