Is it possible to change the customer number in Dynamics and retain all past history?

There is a product called "Changer" from a company named "Corporate Renaissance" which will allow you to change the customer number along with all corresponding transactions.

There are several "Changer" products, one for renumbering GL accts.,one for employees, one for customers, etc.

There is also Professional Services Tools that ships with Great Plains but is chargeable.
