Is there a way to change the company directory key from # to another number? I thought I remember doing one time but can't remember.

Negative. Of course you can make up your own greeting/path and make it whatever you want. But the built in Directory is #, and can't be changed.

On which model of bcm do you want to do it?
You can do it on the Bcm50 r3 with the "service directory number table" in "configuration".You use a spare ata(embedded or not) forward allways to the callpilot dn, then create a service directory for "name dialing" using that same dn.Once done create an option(ex:8) to transfer to that dn and you'll get the directory by pressing 8.
Does need an ata or physical extension forwarded allways but hey, if they really want to use something else than the # key, they're probably willing to spend for a phone or ata...

Thanks gberger. Thats exactly what I found out I had to do last night. Luckily they had the built in analog station keycodes so no ATA was necessary.
