Change com1 baudrate from 9600 to 8192

I had to pull out one of my old win 95 laptops to interface with my 1989 Lotus turbo four cylinder. My problem is that Freescan software will not communicate with win 95 or 98, cause the baud rate is 9600, so I need to change it to 8192. I have a serial port 9 pin to a aldl connector. Is there an easy way to change the baud rate without having to go into the register maybe hyper terminal. The freescan program requires data in TTL (5 volt) bi-directional (half duplex) and runs at 8192.
