change colour of calender entry based on location

I want the colour of the meeting to be a different colour based on text in the location field. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you have the Notes Designer installed ?
Do you have any proficiency in Notes development, or in any object-oriented programming language ?

Yes and I dabble in the development. I've had a go but can't work it out.

Do you have the authorization of the IT department to change your mail template ?
I ask this because there are companies that are rather picky on that subject.
