hi,
easy question for a advanced user.

i have a bike with created with view pixel. the color style is from light-green to green.

now, i want that picture in all kinds of diffrent colors. light-red to red, light-blue to blue. how could i do so? with layers? hmm... that would color the white pixel as well, wouldn't it?

help is appreciated a lot.
thanks

i've got a tiny icon with a bicycle 15X15 pixel. the background is white. the bike has the maincolor GREEN. some pixels are dark green others are light green - to make the picture look smoothly (without any edges). how could i re-paint that icon quickly without loosing that "smoothness". i need to make these icons in several diffrent colors and have no time to do it pixel by pixel. any clue?

do you have photoshop? beause its much easier

but heres the skinny in photoshop/fireworks..

1) use the maigc wand and select the white areas unitl they are all deleted.
2) hold ctrl and click on the layer holding the bike (make sure the background is transparent)
3) now you have a marquee of the bike...simply coose any colors you want and make a new layer and use the paintbucket or gradient tool to add the color(s) you want.
4) then draw a white square to fill the backgound up so you have 2 layers: layer 1 is the white background at the bottom and layer 2 is the bike
