I just got Adobe CS 5 and cannot even use the clone tool. It's hard to explain--Every time you press the clone tool and then move the curser, it automatically shows what the area would look like cloned. I don't want that! It confuses me. I'm used to not having the clone tool show anything unless you activate it.

Does anybody know how to change the settings for this so it works like it did in CS3?

I like it like it is now, but if you want to have your old settings got tothe window menu > Clone source in this panel you go to the three little lines in the top right hand corner, in the flyout menu deselect the option 'show overlay'

hope this helps
