Change CLI Number to Name

Im assuing that I can have a list of customers within a phone directory somewhere that will allow incomming caller ids to display the customer name rather than the number.

Ill be blowed if I can find it.

Only referance I can see to external numbers in any kind of phone directory is in the Telephone Directory Assigment form. But If I try and put an external number in there it says the numbers unknown.

Also, I have loads of customer numbers to put in, so if it is possible, can I import?

As far as I know alpha tagging is not yet supported on the 3300. Assuming you are using a 3300.

Confirm that.

Version 7 is the requirement for Alpha tagging.

I attended a Mitel workshop last week, they confirmed that Alpha tagging will be on Version 7 which will be released sometime in March.

That'll probably mean sometime in may...!!
