Hi,
I need to change the bound column on a State field in one of my tables. Right now it was bound to StateID and I'd like it to show the state abbrev. Will I have to update the rest of the records in my table, if so how would i go about it?

thanks!

Remove the relationship
Run an update query
Recreate a relationship

Hope This Helps, PH.

i forgot to mention that the state abbreviation is already present in the table where my states come from but not the bound column, does this change my scenario any?
I'll check access help for doing the append.

by the way these tables aren't related, i think that's what is causing my problems? help..... :)

i guess a find and replace will work since i only have 2000 records and 50 abbreviations....

thanks guys!
