Change Background colour in Notes Client

Does anybody know if you can chage the background colour of the Notes R5 Client ithout changing the template?

any help will be much appreciated

What exactly do you mean by 'background colour of the Notes R5 client'? - The backgound colour of the Welcome Page or the work space or the Icon-and bookmark bars?

I mean the colour scheme of the Client, a bit like Windows colour schemes/Themes

In the user preferences you can only specify an 'overall colour scheme' which sets how the colours are displayed (system colours, grey colours etc). There might be an undocumented parameter in the notes.ini file where you could perhaps specify a totally different colour scheme (although personally I doubt it). You could go to notes.net and see what Professor INI has to say about your problem.
