Hey all,
I'm hoping you can help me out on this one. I've been designing web pages in Frontpage and in Flash for the last month. Well now is the time to bring it all together. Everything looks good and works fine whether it is straight html or flash. Here's the issue. I have everything saved in one folder on a network drive. Well now it is time to put everything on our server. So, I imported everything into frontpage, and all my buttons on my flash pages are still pointing to the locations of the pages on the network drive.
(of course!)Is there a way to get all the buttons on my flash pages that are on the server, to point to the other flash pages that are on the server? Or am I going to have to go back manually and change each address of every button?
I was hoping that there was a way to change it automatically like the way you can in Frontpage. Please let me know.

i fear you will have to change them all manually..if you knew that would not be the perminant spot, and you have a lot of buttons created that you know have to go back and change, well nevermind..obviously you didn't think about that..

good luck..

Just a quick one, in case you haevn't already changed all the links(!), it might be wise to use the links and targets as variables names and load these from a text file; this means if you ever move your site again, all you have to do is change the text file, rather than editing and re-publishing your Flash file.

Best thing, would be to use the replace feature found in notepad...should help speed up the process a little, again, if you haven't already done so.

Most pages on my works intranet (which I set up, a 17 year old...) use variables for links and such...mainly everything is called from 1 asp which delagates what menus/submenus to put up, and posts them via in include...

Any problems?...feel free to come back and ask. Regards,
