Change all currency fields to another currency.

Is there a way to change the format of all the currency fields in a database.

i.e. my client wants to be able to set a base currency say £ but at some point may want to change to € (euro).

Can I do a bulk change through VBA

Well simply changing a field's format will not do the currency rate conversion.

I'd use a conversion table and CONVERT in a query.

Its really just to set a base currency format. Either display the Euro sign or the £ sign throughout. The default will be £. But they may want to change the to €.

You can change it right in the table design.

Yeah I know. but for the end user, they wont be going into the table designs so need to do it through vba if possible
