change alias email address remotely

There is a customer who has an alias in their email account.
When the customer goes on vacation the customer needs to redirect the emails for the alias only and NOT the general account to another user. How can the customer do this since they do not have access to the email server and I would hate for them to ask me everytime to change it for them.
I have checked web admin but there is no option there.

Only other possibility I can think of is the "e-mail command" method -- you know, you send a message to mdaemon@domain.com and there are a bunch of keywords you can use in the body of the e-mail to change things. I'm not sure if aliases are supported there, but you might check it out.
