Change Access report textbox properties at run time?

Curious - On an Access report, I can't seem to make a text box bold at run time if a certain condition is true. I've worked around it using an invisible textbox that is already bold behind it then flip-flop the .visible property so it's no big deal. Just wondering if I'm missing something.

Have always had trouble with that myself, when I needed it. Now, with a bit of time on my hands... (haven't been able to test on anything but xp, though the a97 help files describes the same (think on print event is suggested))

me!txtSomeField.FontBold = True
