We have a Magix 3.0. We have 3 POTS lines in a pool that are answered by the AutoAttendent and are for incoming only. I want to change the phone line that goes to the last line in the pool to another line that already exists in our building but does not currently go into the Magix. I plan to swap the lines at a punchdown box. Do I have to actually change the phone number to the new line somewhere in Magix programming? That particular line is designated as 815 but I do not see anywhere where the actual phone number is in Magix. TIA for any help.

The system does not care what the phone number is. The system considers whatever line is plugged into the 1st available line port as line 801, the next line is 802, etc. The actual numbers may be enetered as a label. So just disconnect the old line and plug in the new one.

Thank you for your answer. That is what I thought but wasn't sure. You have been a great help.
