Hello again.

When remote workers dial 911 from the work phone which uses the work VPN and Avaya IX Workplace, the 911 call is showing their on-site location and not their actual home location. Is there a way where we can restrict they dial 911 with the work phone (so they can use their own phone to do it) or to modify that their calls show their real location?

Thanks in advance.

In which country and what type of trunks?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

You'd need to setup a specific DID for each WFH extension on your SIP trunk, have each extension's outbound calls dial through an ARS that shows their DID as the outbound ID, and then with your SIP trunk provider, define the e911 address.

Assuming you are using SIP, I think it works like this...

You can setup locations for users that work from home.
Configure the Address section, referencing

All of that address information will be part of the invite.

Apply that location/s to the user/s.

Next, make sure the SIP Line is configured to send location information...

If System Settings > Line > Add/Edit Trunk Line > SIP Line > SIP Advanced > Send Location Info.
Set to Emergency Calls, then the location defined here is sent as part of the INVITE message when emergency calls are made.

Test it out.
