challenging problem, "method not found"

hi

i have a challenging problem to solve, i have some asp pages running on windows nt 4.0, i have used REQUEST.TOTALBYTES and RESPONSE.CACHECONTROL methods in my code but the web server pops out error when it comes accross such methods saying that these METHODS ARE NOT FOUND.

is there any solution for this ? do i need to do some configuration settings in windows NT ?

any help will be appreciated ....
