CGI vs Module

When i run PHP as CGI i can config php.ini such as setting include_path,etc! But i donot know how to config php when using module!

Any suggestions are appreciated! I want to migrate to Canada or Australia. Any relative information you supplied will be appreciated!

hmmm.. i am using php as an apache module. when i want to change the php configuration, I edit the file php.ini which is located in my /etc/httpd/ directory. (webserver configuration directory) Andres Jugnarain

I understand what you said. I copied the php.ini to c:\apache\conf directory on windows but it didnot work.
The include_path always is "" whatever i set it.

Ahh, i didn't realise you were using Windows. I think that the path to the php.ini file is set at compile time.

Try putting the php.ini file in the c:\windows directory or the c:\windows\system. I vaguely remember that worked for me.

Just found some info in the php.ini file on my windows system:

" PHP looks for it in the current working directory, in the path designated by the environment variable PHPRC, and in the path that was defined in compile time (in that order). Under Windows, the compile-time path is the Windows directory. "
