I feel a bit of a thick pleb but I need the answer to my rather basic question.
I have developed an online ordering system using ASP which collects information and ends in a collection of variables. What I need to be able to do is pass these variables to an application that has already been written and is running on the server. The application will then use this info to run and generate a file. I would then want to make this file available to the customer via the web page.
Is this possible and have you any rough ideas about how to go about doing it?
p.s. I don't know any Perl but do know a bit of VB and Delphi.
