As the previous reply implied, it sounds like your web server may be timing out on large file uploads before the entire file can be transferred. IIS has a connection timeout setting on the web server's Properties
sheet. Ours is set to 900 seconds but you should run some tests for your environment with large files and see what is appropriate.

The issue is a known bug that can be resolved by using llisapi.dll instead of Livelink.exe. Changing the cgi timeout on IIS does not correct the bug.

Would not exactly term it as a bug but llisapi is advantageous over livelink.exe.Disadvantages- not avilabale other than IIS.This is the relevant KB thread
