Hi,

I was running a test on my CGI scripts on the Apache server 1.3x on Windows 2000 (which runs well on the linux)

I ve been trying to configure the http.conf to enable CGI but got err and browser returns http error 500.

What are the steps I need to do to configure CGI script support for Apache server on Windows..

thank you.

Daryl

Hi,

Tks, I have gone thru that b4 and have solved other earlier prbs.

Btw, I found the solution which I have to recompile my CGI which was written in C and got a gcc for windows compiler to do so. So it works now.

Btw, I am looking for a free web hosting service which can host my CGI scripts written in C just for testing. Probably needs to recompile in their web server.

I guess Perl scripts will be better and portable as no need to compile code sign...

Thank you.

Regards,
Daryl
