whats involved???

A horrible project has landed on my desk regarding a CGI call to HTML (using IIS server 4). Its in the form of a 'post' button that sends a training score to an HTML server.

What do I need to configure to get this working??

I found an MS article regarding CGI programs in IIS

is this applicable???

sorry for being so vague, but those with the requirement are being even more so!!!

That link is exactly what you are looking for. Read it and if you have questions, ask here. I personally use UNIX OSs with Apache, but, I think you can find help on specific issues here, given a specific question.

' hope to hear from you soon. ;-)

Good Luck

thanks for your reply.....in the end I grabbed a copy of Active Perl and that created all the necessary attributes within IIS. I then renamed the cgi extension to pl and created a URL link to the exe file.

works fine!!

great! - ' glad you got it working.

It might be valuable to others trying to do the same trick if you summarized the steps and posted them here.
