Hi

I have a ".sh" script that runs fine from a shell terminal, it tftps a router config onto a router. When I try to run the script from a browser, commands such as "echo" works as it outputs text into the browser but it doesn't seem to run any of the rest of the script that does the router parts.

Does anyone have an idea on what maybe happening here?

Thanks

in fact I think the problem is that the web server doesn't have permission to telnet. I'm trying to revive an old script I have, I know SSH is probably the way to go but I just want to get this running first.

I see you can use "expect" to do this but my script previously worked on another server. Do I need to assign some permission to the telnet application so that Apache can run it?

Thanks

ignore this, SELinux was denying me access! (CentOS)
