Hi, ive just been starting to play with cgi properly and have built a little search engine, I have made it so you can select different regions to search.
The problem is that if you search for something then narrow your search to another region it returns the results from the cached search before, the only way I can get around at the moment it to have lots of search pages. I have tried using Meta tags to solve this with no sucsess. Is there a command to use to stop the cgi script from returing cached search results?

Hi,

I think you're going to have to be a little more specific.
Essentially you've asked people if you're going the right way, without telling them where you want to go, or what direction you've taken.

Did you write the scripts yourself? If so post some code
Did you get the scripts from a script site? If so have you read the FAQ's at that site, or are there support forums available there.

The cgi script shouldn't return cached results, as the results should be 'unique' each time the search is submitted, even though the results will be the same. That is the result will have been generated ata different point in time.

Hope that Helps - Paul
