I found a script off of BigNoseBird.com that is call All Purpose Form Handler. I configured it to work with my form and my hosting provider helped me out by giving me the correct path. I am on a Windows server.
#! d:\Per\bin\Perl.exe and changing the extension from cgi to pl.

It executes now except that it gives me the following error:

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

String found where operator expected at D:\web\Commercial\A-G\firstmatemarine\cgi-bin\bnbform.pl line 89, near "if ($fields{'automessage'} ne ""
(Might be a runaway multi-line "" string starting on line 83)
(Missing semicolon on previous line?)
syntax error at D:\web\Commercial\A-G\firstmatemarine\cgi-bin\bnbform.pl line 89, near "if ($fields{'automessage'} ne ""
syntax error at D:\web\Commercial\A-G\firstmatemarine\cgi-bin\bnbform.pl line 89, near "$"
Execution of D:\web\Commercial\A-G\firstmatemarine\cgi-bin\bnbform.pl aborted due to compilation errors.

If you would like to see the form you may do so here:[URL unfurl="true"]http://www.firstmatemarine.net[/URL] The CGI script is below. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out on this!!!

Thanks,

Lmarshall

If we look were the perl interpreter suggests, at line 83, we find,
Code:
    if ($fields{'countfile'} ne "") { e"t_number; }
[/COLOR]

The double quote in 'e"t_number' is non-sensical.
The
Code:
[/COLOR]
chunk is also non-sense.

You appear to have accidentally inserted/deleted/changed the code from it's functional form.

Sorry, I don't have time to figure out what those lines should say....... just that they make no sense the way they are.

'hope this helps
