Hey all,
I just installed Apache on a new machine(FreeBSD 4.4) and have found that everything in the cgi-bin directory is trying to execute, including the images! I have a couple of scripts that need the images within the cgi-bin directory (Grey Matter), but right now they are not showing up since the server is trying to execute the .jpg instead of transfering them! I've checked the permissions and they are r-x for scripts and r-- for images.
Any ideas?

If you have a script that requires images to be in the cgi directory, I'd find another script. That's just incredibly bad programming. Everything in the cgi directory is intended to be executable - that's the whole point. Are you sure you can't change the references to the images so they point somewhere else (like ../images/image.gif)? Tracy Dryden
