I am having a problem with the call forward feature but it only seems to occure when forwarding to cell phones. this is going through an option 11 rel 25.3 and we are using 3904 phones. when i 4 digit dial the forwarded phone from an internal phone it works fine but all external calls get a ring no answer. Any ideas?

lots of post on this, easy fix.. cfxa in class cfw 8 on the key to allow digits.. now the part that's broke.. look at the ncos of your inbound trunks, that number must be high enough to allow the local call. and calls don't usually want to forward to the same route they came in on.. 100 diff ways to do a work around. i usually just forward to the acod of the route, make sure the targ's/tgars don't match and it will forward

Thank you John.
that worked, the acod, but is there another solution? I work in tenant services and would really prefer not to give out the ACOD to my customers.

Check CDB, is CFF or CFO

CFF = Call Forward Forwarding phone NCOS

CFO = Call Forward Orig NCOS

I have a follow up question on this:

Succession 3.0 81C with a 2616 forwarding to a cell number; sometimes works, sometimes does not. When the forward does not work, calls are routed to Central Answering Position (lone 2250 console). Here is some of the data asked for above:

Key 3 CFW 10 9303xxxxxxx (Denver is 10 digit dialing)

CLS CFXA, SFA

CBD
OPT CFF

NCOS of incomming route allows local calls, same NCOS as a lobby phone.

No TARG/TGAR match

The only thing I can think of is we recently added PRI service into this PBX for inbound and outbound calls, but the calls do forward correctly SOME of the time. I have checked with the cellular provider, but I don't think that is the issue.

Any suggestions would be apprecaited. I have not captured the log files when this happens, mainly because it works when I test. Could be user error, but if they only need to press the CFW key twice, I can't explain the sometimes yes and sometimes no. Could be they don't active the feature, but the call should ring on the set, not out to the console when that happens, right?

Thanks in advance,

Scott M.
