Okay, here is my latest dilemma...
I have a Cisco Call Manager and Nortel 81C tied together. The 87xx block has been set as a DSC and now users on the Nortel side cannot do a CFW to a 87xx. (8712 for example). You get a fast busy when hitting the done button during the CFW process. I am pretty sure the reason for the fast busy is because the Nortel doesn't recognize 8712 as being valid, since there is no extension on the Nortel as 8712 and 87 is the DSC. Is there a way around this? Will the Nortel recognize the forward if 8712 is specified as a DSC, as opposed to just 87?
I realize I can set the CFXA and have them forward to the outside number. I just wanted to see if anyone has seen this and what they did. Thanks!
