I encrypted the messages in my message center, but some messages wouldn't decrypt so I changed encrypt and decrypt to their cfusion_ counterparts.. and it works... all but one anomaly: each time the message is encrypted or decrypted, I'm not sure which.. all apostrophes are doubled... they don't come out as quotes.. just two apostrophes... Is there a problem with this... how do I fix it?

"It doesn't work" >> encrypt >> decrypt >> "It doesn''t work"..

Thanks,
Tony

Poorman's solution? Do a replace ;-)

I know, I know... you'll be left with the nagging "but why is it happening" question.

Worse than that.. I'm left with the "What if someone meant two ''s

I'm one of those people I like a one size fits all solution and this would work and I'm gonna do it for now I guess but I like solutions that can't be a problem of their own..

IE: if someone enters '' on purpose...

But hey, thanks for the thoughts

If you enter two ''s, does the encrypt/decrypt process turn them into ''''?
