I have used cfset to create variables and assign certain values to them. When I cfdump #VARIABLES#, I don't see any of these variables listed. What am I missing?
Thanks!

You're not missing anything.

As the ColdFusion docs state:

"The following scopes are exposed as ColdFusion structures:
Form
URL
Attributes
Request
CGI
Cookie
Session
Application"

The Variables structure is not exposed, unfortunately.
Hope it helps,
-Carl

In all versions prior to CFMX, you can't dump the VARIABLES scope, but in CFMX, you can, which is a great help for debugging!

Cool! Didn't realized that was "fixed" in MX, Tek! Thanks! Hope it helps,
-Carl
