cfserver and cfidservice WON'T START

Our Web Server crashed and after recovery from the Backups, the CFSERVER and CFIDSERVICE wont start. Only CFEXEC and WIND/U Processes comes up. We are getting the follwoing REGISTRY ERRORS:

-Wind/U Error (250): Function RegOpenKeyExA -
A fatal registry I/O failure has occurred.
A registry daemon may not be running.
Restart your application and verify that a registry daemon is running.
