CFSCHEDULE & CFDIRECTORY help

I have never used this function before so any help appreciated.
I am looking to run a template that will delete all files from a directory every night and do not have access to the CF admin.

Tried:
<cfschedule action = "update"
task = "TaskName"
operation = "HTTPRequest"
url = "

http://127.0.0.1:8500/scorecard/deletefiles.cfm"

startDate = "8/7/03"
startTime = "14:25 PM"
interval = "60"
resolveURL = "Yes"
requestTimeOut = "600">

The template deletefile.cfm is

<CFDIRECTORY action="DELETE" directory="C:\CFusionMX\

http://wwwroot\scorecard\downloads\"

filter="*.xls">

Neither the schedule or the delete tag works, any help with either or both much appreciated.

I think it might be something to do with your start date (startDate = "8/7/03") I don't have a cf server in front of me to test but seem to remrmber something that if the sdate is set in the past for an update it won't run. try changing that to a date in the future, and remember it is in US date format (mm/dd/yy)
