CFNA is being answered canned Mary's "that extension is not available, please enter Ext or dial

CFNA is being answered by canned Mary's "that extension is not available, please enter Ext or dial 0" message, instead of the extensions voicemail. I've enabled/disabled DRT, changed number of rings, tried internal and external calls, it transfers me to extension, but when that extension doesn't answer it forwards me to the canned greeting instead of the extension's voicemail. There are 40 extensions not including receptionist, and the problem occurs with all the extensions. However, I haven't checked recept's to see if it forwards there or to the general mailbox. I have always been able to troubleshoot all the problems with this particular system/client (12 years- I sold, installed, maintain and troubleshoot this system to this client and no problem has ever stumped me such as this one.)

Go into Table/1 and look for Disable DN's and change it to Enabled.

Maybe not an option on Flash version so maybe Voice Mail is disabled period....

Log into F983 then press 4 and Enable voice mail.

Fun note: Meridian Mary is a real lady, Ms.Joan Kenley from Oakland California. I actually had the pleasure of working with her to record all of the voice prompts for the Emetrotel next Nortel generation UCx product. She is a very nice lady.

Thank you curly that worked. In fact it worked back in March and it worked again today. Feature 983 login and dial "4" then enable voicemail.
Since this is the second occurrence of the issue I decided to dig deeper into what may have caused it. Turns out that the system coordinator on site logged in to voicemail this morning to reset a password. My guess is that she didn't press "mailboxes" and tried to enter an extension number that starts with four. The majority of their extensions are 4xxx. After explaining to the coordinator how I came to this conclusion she decided to be more careful from now on when she's navigating the menus. A little late to start being careful when you take into consideration the eight hours I spent in March and the hour today to fix a small mistake that could have easily been prevented.
 
I had the same issue a couple of months ago when I upgraded a Flash 2 to Flash 4. After a couple hours of banging my head against the wall, changed the VM & software and still didn't work. When checking my cheat notes, I found that solution, but wasted a day (non billable) beforehand.
