CFMAIL and server that need to authenticate

Hi, I'm trying to use cfmail... The server communicate alrigth but it works only with internal address since for others I have the message : "delivery refused for non-local recipient, try authenticating" or " not local host hec.ca, not a gateway"

I know I have to check the my server need to authenticate in my outlook configuration, can I do that in coldfusion ?

CF versions below CFMX do not support the use of SMTP Auth. I know that CFMX uses the JavaMail API, but I am not 100% sure that it supports this either, although I would think it does.

You will have to set your mail server to relay mail for the CF Server, either by using the IP Address, or a subnet mask.
