cfldap issue

The query returns the exact 'userPassword' attribute value that I updated using the <cfldap> tag for the given customer on the AD Server, using port 389. The problem is that when the customer gets into the intranet application through the VPN - it fails because the AD Server still has the previous password.

Q1. What ldap attribute does Cold Fusion change?

Q2. What ldap attribute does VPN put to use?
