I ran cfgmgr, and it is just hanging and nothing happens.
The only thing I can do was either ctrl + c or exit the session.

What would be the cause and the fix?

Thank you

try cfgmgr -v to display any error messages while running the command!

Regards,
Khalid

cfgmgr -v gives nothing. It just hangs the same.

Do you have any of your filesystems full? Check df

what's in your errpt -a?

What hardware have you added/removed lately?

No filesytem is full.
I don't see any particular error.

I have one entry on errpt:

rtprod1db:/> errpt -aj 2F3E09A4 |more
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
LABEL: REPLACED_FRU
IDENTIFIER: 2F3E09A4

Date/Time: Thu Jan 22 15:53:30 EST 2009
Sequence Number: 3862
Machine Id: 00C701F04C00
Node Id: rtprod1db
Class: H
Type: INFO
Resource Name: sysplanar0
Resource Class: planar
Resource Type: sysplanar_rspc
Location:

Description
REPAIR ACTION

User Causes
PARTS REPLACEMENT

Recommended Actions
NONE

Would it be a reason?

Thank you

I don't exactly know what that error mean but since its an INFO type then it shouldn't be a problem!

The errpt entry means someone has used diags to log a repair action against sysplanar0. You usually do this to prevent the 4am diag cron job from reporting old errors once they are fixed.

Does the alog or console log show any problems from the last boot?

Are any devices defined instead of available?

hi,
any code in 3digit display (or other, I don't know your HW)
during the cfgmgr ?

bye

I have tried so many ways with IBM Support, but no clue.
The only solution was rebooting the nodes, which took care of the issue.

Thanks so much.
