CFFILE Usage

Anyway to control the use of CFFILE? We have a large site with many developers ranging from secretaries to VERY experienced. We have been reluctant to enable CFFILE for fear an "OOPS" might occur. We would like to enable CFFILE if the template comes from a specific DIRECTORY (the directory would be one owned by an EXPERIENCED individual).

Suggestions/strategies appreciated!

Hi PDL,

In the CF Administrator, Basic Security you can disable the cffile tag.

And with the unsecured tags directory you can specify a directory which is an exception to that.

Haven't done this myself, but I guess it should work.
