cffile upload problem

Hi all,

I have been bangin my head. A intranet page needs to upload pdf files to the server. It works fine until when we try files more than 1MB with win98 - IE (any verison). It just goes error "page not found " . Files less than 1MB works fine with win 98 - IE. Any files size okay with win 2000 - IE.

Any reason why files more than 1MB does get uploaded in win98. It works with netscape though but we rely on IE.

Any suggestion please?

Sounds like yet another problem with IE. You misght want to check with some IE experts. Is the win98 that you refer to the client or the server?

Hi!

Thanks for your reply. I just found out that it's nothing to do with IE. It's my proxy server. it was set to accept the default object size which is 1 MB. I increased that and works fine. ( I am not sure why it did work in netscape though )... very strange.

Anyway it's all fixed!
