Hay all,
I was wondering what kinf of unix/linux cert. is available. I have used linux b4(not exactly a guru)but wouldn't mind learning how2 use the o.s. properly. I know of L.C.P. and R.H.C.E. but what else is avail??? :)

Just my opinion, but why not just read some books (there are many on Linux)and use the OS (trial/error), instead of spending money on certification?

i am currently the unix bible, while it by far dosent cover everything, it gives me a good start, well more than linux 4 dummies, The main reason i want certifaction, is to become more employable.. TY skottieb:)

huh, wot, like how does the man commant tell me anything about certifaction?!?! hehe skottieb:)

The best way to learn the OS is the man pages, makes you search harder than books, and you learn things that aren't in the books. Certs are worthless unless you have 0 experience, and no connections.
