hello all, we have 2 CES servers in our environment and 1 of those servers seems to break every week. Users get an error on their Equinox app saying that their service is down and to try again. what we've discovered is that the "1XP Service" is hung and it requires a restart. so we have to go into System Platform, confirm the MAC address, putty to the server and restart the 1XP Service from the command line.
Since this is every week it's really become a nuisance. does anyone have suggestions as to how to get around constantly restarting the service? we thought of rebooting the server once a week to try to eliminate the problem but the reboot doesn't correct the fact that the problem keeps occurring? we also thought of adding memory to the server because Avaya told us it's a memory leak.
any insight would be appreciated.

if it's a memory leak, ain't much you can do.

get root and make a chron jon Sunday mornings at 3 am?

can you elaborate? what's a chron job or jon and what does that do?
