I did a city & guilds at college for VB6. I don't think you can do it online as such, but all the classes are at:
you will need to play around with the numbers after vb6/pt to get the entire course - it goes 1_1, 1_2...1_n, 2_1, 2_2 etc up until 12.
Even though the exam is on line, I think you'd need to go to college because there's coursework with it that needs to be submitted.
At least you'll get the experience and see if you want to go for the qual.
