Hello everyone,

At this moment there aren't any chances for me to take the BCM 50 200/400 course training and I need to have my certification. I have the course material and I have study it profoundly with some field practice.

Am I ready to take the assesment?? I'm running out of time with it...

Thank you

Without the course, you really need to have a bit of hands-on experience, regardless how much you study.

Even with the course, without some hands-on experience, it would be tough to pass.

I passed the cert a few years ago but the meat of the test is basically the same; multiple choice business scenario questions covering installation, programming, networking, VoIP, Call Pilot, etc.

I benefitted more from the course than hands on. Finished 2 installs, 1 with call center and reporter, thought I was good to go. if it hadn't been for the course materials I would have been in trouble.

I have my NCSS for BCM products in VOIP, Design and Support specialist, They are about 55 questions each and the Voip was the hardest by far. The other too are managable with some good product experience and common sence. If you are new to the product forget it.

I agree that NCTS is harder than NCSS, (I don't know about NCDS) but since you have completed VoIP (920-801), then I would highly suggest to anyone to go after NCTE, because it's a piece of cake once you have VoIP under your belt.

Something to keep in mind about Nortel classes: It doesn't matter if you know the product, but CAN YOU NAVIGATE OUR MANUALS ( for the answers); YES OR NO?

Do you guys have any suggestions on supplemental study materials for the VOIP test?
