I am trying to get my certification for Web application in Visual InterDev 6 (070-152) I have studied using the Book Mastering Web application development using Microsoft Visual InterDev 6, I took the test last week, but faild by about 60 points, problem is the book didnt cover alot, and when I downloaded the exam's coverage, and it even marked which sections of the exam were covered by the book (or by course 1017 which is nothing more than an assisited course using the same book) problem is that most of the sectinos that I did poorly in were not even covered in the book at all such as Analysing Business Requirements which is one of the really really big sections that seems to have less than 10% coverage and Developing Conceptual and Logical design which isnt covered in the book at all, and according to most book reviews, the certificatino book meant for 070-152 is worse than the mastering series. what reasources can I use to fill in for the big gaps that are not covered by even microsoft's own press ( I find it rather hard to belive that microsoft own publishing isnt good enough)
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)

I'm looking at the description and review of the book called Analyzing Requirements and Defining Solution Architectures MCSD Training Kit
I notice that it was meant for 70-100 , doesnt give you direct answers (which I understand because its better to learn the concept than to try to find something that's going to give you direct answers to direct questions on the exam) well I look at the course matrix, and compare to that of the 70-152, It seems that the 70-100 coverage has everything in the 70-152 that isnt in the Master Interdev 6 book, so I assume getting this book will fill in the gaps that arnt covered in the Mastering book.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)

Have you tried the Wrox Press Books? (<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> A lot of people swear by them for ASP work. I went to a seminar on "E-commerce applications with Windows 2000" in Boston recently taught by Bob Familiar (a Microsoft guru), and he recommended their new book on ASP 3.0, which covers the changes for Windows 2000. He used mostly Visual Interdev. Hope this helps. Thanks for all your helpful posts in this group and in Visual C++!

hehe thanks, but belive it or not, the M$ cert exam, doesnt cover alot on ASP usage, it cover more terminology, and project managerment the microsoft way than anything else, in fact the exam doesnt have any DHTML questoins, unless it ask you what the Document Object Modal is.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)
