Certification/Course Inquiries...

What are good Certification and/or Courses to take to get into Unix Administration? Is it beneficial to diversify to various flavours of Unix (ie. BSD, SCO, HP) and Linux? Has Linux come any closer to becoming a certified Unix variant?
