Certificate Transfer

Hi

So I a moving a server edition from one Hyper-V host to another.

For various reasons, we have build a new IPO and imported the config rather than copy and move the VM

For all the J Series phones we have, they are currently using the self signed cert on the current IPO.
Can I copy and move that cert to the new IPO so that I do not have to default and reprogram the J series phones?

Seems OK in theory???

hmm, can't import into the new system as the exported cert does not have the private key.

Any idea how I can get the private key from the old system?

Think I found the private key at

/opt/Avaya/certs/key.pem

The correct way is to export the whole Certificate Authority.

Then import it into the new server and create a new certificate. Since it is the same CA the certificate week be trusted by the endpoints.
