Certificate question for additional front end server to existing pool?

Installed Lync Ent with SQL backend and everything good. Just added another front end server to existing pool and have a question regarding certificates. Right now, I'm using my internal CA and my logic is that I create another certificate on my new install, in that certificate, add the name of the first server to be included in the SAN cert. Then I guess I need to import that cert into my first server's certificate store to replace the one I had originally created for it. I didn't really see any documentation on the matter (probably missed it somewhere)
So it that correct, or am I way off?
