Hi,

I have a small Windows 2003 domain with

Two win2k3 DC's
win2k3 - File & Print
win2k3 with Exchange 2003
win2k3 Certificate of Authority server

I am in the middle of upgrading to Windows 2008 domain.

I have added
two win2k8 servers and promoted them
a win2k8 server with exch 07 (in the middle of moving mailboxes now)
a win2k8 server as file & print.

My question is do I need to do anything with the CA server before I remove the Win2k3 domain ?

Thanks

It depends on how the CA was used. Is it a root CA? Enterprise? Standalone? Is it being replaced with another CA? Are there any other CAs that this CA is in a hierarchy with? Are the certificates from this CA still being used?
