Certain "Sent Mail" not showing up in Sent Mail folder

Certain emails I'm sending through MS Outlook are NOT showing up in my Sent Mail folder. Examples specifically include:

Forwards
Mail sent to email boxes on the same server as me


All mail is being sent, received fine. Just no record in my "sent mail" folder.

(no, I dont need to click "save sent mail to sent mail folder" option...that's already set.
 
It's not likely this, but check

TOOLS>OPTIONS>PREFERENCES>EMAIL OPTIONS

Verify the box that says something about keeping a copy in SENT ITEMS is checked.

Re-read my post please. I said this is already checked. Only certain emails are not being saved in SENT
 
What version of Outlook?

In OL2K there's an option in Advanced Email options to "save forwarded messages". This option should be CHECKED.

There's also an option in the Advanced Email options to "in folders other than the Inbox, save replies in the same folder". If you have multiple folders but want the replies saved in the sent items folder then this should be UNchecked.
